2nd Line Support Engineer
6 month outside IR35 - market rate
Southampton - on-site 3x per week
Fruition IT are recruiting for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to work for a well-established organisation within the telecommunications sector.
Our clients IT service has recently undergone a period of change resulting in the implementation of a new operating model for support services, as such they are in need of an experienced Support Engineer to assist in the optimisation and normalisation of IT services. This a great opportunity for someone who is experienced in IT Support and looking for a fresh new challenge.
Act as the first point of contact for all escalated technical issues from the 1st line
Provide hands-on support, including laptop builds
Act as a point of contact for all customer enquiries, maintaining a high level of customer service
Provide technical guidance and leadership to the 1st line function
Document and maintain records of incidents, solutions, and best practices
Experience performing advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on hardware, software, and network-related problems
Proficient in Windows operating systems
