Accountant in Milton Keynes

The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Accountant on behalf of an External Accounting Provider with offices in Milton Keynes.

The Role

As Accountant you will take responsibility for a Key Client in relation to all core accounting, reporting and assistance to the Business Owner to give insight and updates on the Performance of the Organisation.

Day to day duties will consist of:

• Ownership of the Bi-monthly payment run
• Payroll Management
• VAT return
• CIS return
• Monthly billing
• Sales billings for new customers
• Prepayments/accruals
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Suspense reconciliations
• Produce management report following from PnL review
• Rates/Utilities related queries
• Service charge related queries
• Any ad hoc requests from the team
• Team Management

Your Profile

You will ideally be a Qualified Accountant although Part Qualified will also be considered.

You will be able to take full ownership of accounting duties for a main client with other work assisting on further clients that are provided support.

Salary and Benefits

Role of Accountant is based in Milton Keynes 5 days per week unless working with the client and paying a Salary of 35-45K DOE + Study Support if required and other Benefits.
