SkyBlue Solutions are recruiting an FM Area Manager on a permanent basis.

This will be a mobile role covering Greater London and north Sussex, where you will be responsible for managing the delivery of all Hard and Soft FM services across multiple sites within the region.

This is an active and visible role requiring excellent client relationship and team leadership skills.

Working as part of a team within the business, the role holder will be expected to contribute in a positive manner to the performance of the business.

Duties will include but won't be limited to: Responsible for the Estates and Facilities Services across a cluster of establishments within the region; ensuring business objectives are met.

Ensure implementation of the buildings and site infrastructure along with environmental changes and objectives as defined in the regional business plan across a cluster of establishments within the region.

Update the annual Service Delivery Agreement for each establishment, reviewing regularly and amending based on evidence from Establishments and instructions from Regional Accounts Director.

Carry out a programme of governance assurance to ensure establishments meet the statutory and mandatory obligations, advising the appropriate channels of where action is required.

Act as the specialist advisor to site managers, functional heads and Governors in delivering the SDA and providing technical advice on all aspects of maintenance, repairs and improvements to the establishments.

Advise and liaise with Health and Safety on specialist estates related matters including Construction Design Management (CDM) compliance, water management, gas and asbestos ensuring all relevant risks are managed.

Liaise with MOJ and other 3rd parties to ensure the historic estate is managed in accordance with relevant governance Monitor all Tenancy Agreements to ensure compliance, liaise with managers in establishments to provide accurate reports to HQ and the RAD on additional 3rd party businesses on site Line management - deployment of resources as required.

Will have the skills to apply all Human Resources (HR) related policies and practices and be able to carry out all aspects of people management such as Attendance Management, Disciplinary Investigations, Performance Management and Staff Appraisals Validate the flow of information and data between Estates business support and establishments.

Produce relevant reports as required and ensure all correspondence is accurate.

Manage delegated budgets in compliance with the Finance, Procurement and Materials Management policies when required.

Requirements for the role: Proven track record within FM with experience within either a secure environment, military, government, health or similar sector.

Ideally you will have completed a recognised apprenticeship.

Previous management experience including management for first line managers and experiencing of managing multiple sites.

Proven analytical and financial management acumen with demonstrable commercial experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Hold current First Aid at Work certificate.

Due to the nature of the environment you will be asked to complete the standard Security Vetting.
