Area Sales Manager

Willerby - it’s our name and is a core component of who we are.

We’re so proud of our legacy and to have grown from manufacturing in a tiny village nearby to our sprawling 90-acre site in Hull today.

Our goal has always been and always will be dedication to detail and creating a quality product.

We are the UK’s largest manufacturer of holiday homes and lodges, and we love designing practical and beautiful homes for parks not only in the UK but also across the world.

With a strong market presence and an expanding customer base, we are seeking the best talent to help drive our sales efforts to new heights.

We are on the lookout for experienced and motivated individuals, ideally with a passion for holiday homes, to join our commercial team as Area Sales Managers for our products.

We have two opportunities; one to cover Southern England and another to cover Northern England and Scotland.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the designated area.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring the promotion and sale of our products.
  • Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
  • Provide product knowledge and sales training to customers' staff to enhance their sales capabilities.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to represent the company and generate leads.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with an industry-leading marketing team to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Care team to offer a world-class aftersales service.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and trends to ensure knowledge of our product range remains current.

About You

You will have a knack for sales and a proven track record of achieving targets driven by effective communication that engages trade customers, consumers, and stakeholders across our business.

You will also be able to demonstrate excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships.

You will be easily self-motivated and goal-orientated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Good analytical and problem-solving abilities will be second nature to you, with the capacity to adapt to changing market dynamics.

Due to the scope of the role, you will need to be comfortable with extensive travel within the designated area to meet clients and attend industry events.

What Willerby can offer the right candidate

You can expect a competitive starting salary with an attractive commission structure, alongside a company car or allowance.

You’ll also get to enjoy 25 days annual leave in addition to public holidays each year, have the security of life assurance and benefit from a 6% employer contribution pension scheme.

You’ll also get to join a private health scheme with the option to include family members.

Your development is important to us, and we will always look for and support opportunities for you to grow within our business.

As a valued employee, you’ll also be entitled to a host of other free benefits available to you and family members throughout the year, from tickets to theme parks and the theatre to drive-in cinema experiences.
