Projects often include competitive landscapes, portfolio assessments, partnership activations, sponsorship and marketing strategies and other services aimed at guiding our clients’ marketing investments.We are looking for an Associate Director with a passion for digital marketing, football and project management.This is a unique opportunity to work as key member of the account team on one of the agency’s biggest accounts. The AD will lead day to day client management, provide expert counsel and oversee the delivery of marketing promotion campaigns internationally for one of the world’s leading sports competitions.The role involves working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, to ensure we deliver outstanding results that make a real difference to the client’s business.The right candidate will play a pivotal role in executing our client’s marketing promotion campaigns leading the inter agency team and driving forward the long term strategic vision.An excellent working knowledge of digital marketing coupled with a strong understanding of cross channel campaign planning, the commercial rights landscape within sports and the ability to manage multiple work streams is crucial in this role. Experience and understanding of the football industry is helpful, but not essential.The ideal candidate will have either agency or client side experience, working predominantly in a campaign management / marketing capacity where they have had to demonstrate an ability to develop and implement promotional plans with quantifiable results. They should also have experience working across multiple international markets with an understanding of how to tailor campaign messaging and concepts to different audience segments and for use in local market environments with contrasting languages and cultures.The Associate Director should demonstrate best in class work output, particularly in client-facing situations e.g. presentations, account & project management, and cross-agency workgroups. The successful candidate will be a natural leader and be able to upskill junior members of the team and use their prior experience to demonstrate best in class campaign delivery optimizing performance throughout.Key Responsibilities Present an “always on” and “client first” positioning at all times. Managing, maintaining and growing the relationship with the client and key stakeholders Direct and have a positive impact on projects, teams, and clients by providing direction and a direction and vision to follow Maintaining a superior relationship with all departments in the agency and understands the strategic goals of the account and contributes to their communication to the agency team Management and mentorship of junior staff members Oversee the development and delivery of campaigns on time and on budget ensuring first class project management at all times Provide insight & recommendations to optimize campaign performance and fan experience Support the integration of sponsors and broadcasters into client campaigns Manage, monitor and evaluate digital performance leading the delivery of pre and post campaign reports Works with team members to deliver superb client servicing, positive relationship development, and diligent project management. Oversees the briefing and scheduling of creative assets and copywriting to ensure the campaign is delivered on time and on budget. Oversees the fulfillment of consumer promotions and experiences Excellent administrative file-keeping and budget management to ensure team can easily access most up-to-date information. Eyes and ears of our clients to instill maximum confidence that the account is in safe hands at all times.
