A Cambridge-based biotechnology company is seeking a bioassay scientist with experience in biochemical or cell-based assays to join their team focussed on the development of novel biologics.
In this role, you will be part of a team designing, optimising, and carrying out a range of biochemical and cell-based assays, such as ELISA, cytotoxicity assays, proliferation assays, and cytokine release assays, to test a range of therapeutic proteins, as well as carrying out the isolation, maintenance and passaging of both cell lines and primary cells.
Requirements for this role:
PhD in relevant discipline or MSc/BSc with relevant postgraduate experience in an R&D environment;
Extensive experience of mammalian tissue culture;
Experience with the design and troubleshooting of a range of cell-based assays;
Experience with ELISA, plate-based assays, and flow cytometry.
