The Business Development Manager is responsible for winning and developing current and prospective accounts. You will be reporting to the Head of Client Acquisition, you will be responsible for developing new prospects from cold calling, networking and attending events and through the entire sales process from first engagement to negotiation and closing.Client Details My client is a global data, analytics, and technology company.Description The Key Responsibilities for this role are:Identifying and qualifying new opportunities through outbound sales, inbound enquiries, networking, use of social media and industry eventsDelivering client presentations and demos on our market leading Debt Services solutionsNegotiating and closing new contracts with customers potentially of a value up to £150kManaging sales pipeline and forecastingWorking with your peers in the Sales Team in order to drive new clients through pipeline to closeBecoming a subject matter expert on Open Banking Profile The successful candidate will have:Strong B2B sales experience in software or data; preferably in financial servicesStrong track record of exceeding / meeting revenue targetsStrong ability to manage own workload efficiently and meet deadlinesIntermediate networking and pipelining experiences Intermediate communication skills to ensure full understanding of clients' objectives, to develop strong relationships and be able to effectively present our offeringsJob Offer My client offers an excellent compensation package with a high-reaching market salary.
