Within Home Instead care assistants are known as Care Professionals and the care and support our Care Professionals deliver is designed to allow our clients to live independently in their own homes. As a Home Instead Care Professional supporting people with activities and tasks is not enough for us as friendship and companionship is central to how we assist our clients. For us, the clients wishes are at the heart of what we do, not the tasks themselves. We strive to provide the highest quality of care for our clients, which is why our minimum visit is one hour , allowing you enough time to provide the best individual care to your clients.

Your main responsibilities include providing companionship and stimulation to your clients with their daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and maintaining their emotional health and wellbeing. Making sure your clients enjoy regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit and being able to build a meaningful relationship with your clients and engaging in social activities with them.

Qualifications

You do not need qualifications for this role as full training is provided, if you have a genuine interest in caring and supporting others, possess excellent communication skills, then this is what is needed in helping you succeed in your journey with us.

Additional Information

We do request that you have access to your own safe working vehicle and a valid Driving Licence for the UK is essential for this role.
