Chief Digital Information Officer in England

Location: England
Salary: Hidden
Recruiter: Exec Appointments
Job Hours: Unknown

We are looking for an exceptional Chief Digital Information Officer to lead the delivery of our ambitious digital transformation.

We are a leading specialist provider of healthcare solutions across the UK seeing over 3 million patients a year.

Our greatest priority is to improve patient outcomes and the healthcare economy of the UK, and we view digital as a critical strategic enabler to this success; supporting business transformation and operational efficiencies, increasing digitisation of customer-facing services, and increased agility to respond to new business opportunities as they arise.

As we enter our next phase of business growth, it is an appropriate time to take stock and look ahead at how the digital function can support the next stage of the organisation’s development.

We are therefore now seeking a Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) to join the team and lead the successful delivery of all aspects of the organisation’s ambitious digital services.

As the most senior strategic digital member of the organisation, the CDIO will work effectively with the CFO, CEO and wider executive team in providing the digital vision and direction for the business, according to and in alignment with the needs of the business.

Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of all digital services and assets including the design, development, release and maintenance of technology systems, you will be pivotal to the success of our digital transformation.

The successful candidate will have significant digital experience at a director level, a proven track record of change leadership and experience delivering digital transformations.

As a senior management team member, this is an ideal role for someone with strong experience in managing infrastructure and digital operations, broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies and strategic application to business needs.

Importantly, too, you will be a values-driven and adaptable leader, passionate about delivering a digital futures strategy and committed to equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

We strongly encourage applications from all sections of the community, particularly from under-represented groups, including disabled people and members of black, Asian and minority ethnic communities to improve the diversity of experience in our organisation.
