The Role: To support a Regional Sales Director in UK Wholesale Sales by providing predominantly office-based, technical support to clients helping to retain existing business and generate future sales. The role will align with the North of the UK, Northern Ireland and Dublin. Key Work Level Accountabilities: Experienced Colleague: Accountable for providing a quality service or product to customers and stakeholders, using skills/experience built through significant practical experience or training For team leaders, accountable for ensuring the team the role supports is delivering a quality service or product Works within established frameworks and procedures, with the freedom to interpret them to solve a range of problems Delivers outputs that are clearly defined, using discretion over how to achieve them Makes suggestions for improvements to the work of the team, based on previous experience and knowledge of similar situations Key Responsibilities for this role: First point of office based contact for technical and operational queries from clients, responding by email or phone accordingly Manage regular schedule of updates to clients on the core funds, from bespoke pieces through to standardised monthly updates Occasional hosting of client meetings in London or at clients’ offices Support internal training / knowledge transfer across the wider M&G Prudential group Manage follow ups to events that we host or present at with a view to gaining feedback or potential business leads for the team to convert Production of MI for team and wider business use on account holdings and trade analysis Production of invitations to clients and assistance with curation and delivery of regional roadshows Ad hoc support for Regional Sales Directors responding to short notice requests for fund information, commentary and client information Working closely with Marketing to help shape UK Wholesale campaign materials Manage own panel of clients, as agreed with Regional Sales Director in line with regional business plan. Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Experience of Financial Industry, ideally within Asset Management. Experienced telephone sales or service based role with the Financial sector with an understanding of the Intermediary landscape Have strong proven skills in Relationship Development, Communication, Influencing skills. Strong team working ethic and showing high Drive / Delivery Key account management / sales skills and extensive telephone techniques skills. We are looking for you to have Asset Management experience, strong investment knowledge and to have ideally completed an industry qualification e.g. IMC (Investment Management Certificate). For this role you need the ability to understand and articulate complex investment messages in a digestible form. It is essential for you to have strong presentation skills and experience of presenting to larger audiences. In addition to proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, it is important for you to be flexible on your broader skills for example, Administration, Operations, Client Facing and Telephone.
