Your purposeThe role of the commercial director is to develop and manage our sales and marketing capabilities, product and service offering and support the Managing Director deliver the ambitious growth goals and position the organisation as a leading supplier in the care sector. What's in it for you?Performance incentives, pension, healthcare, performance related incentives and participation in newly introduced Enterprise Management Incentive (“EMI”) share option scheme aimed at rewarding hard work, performance , commitment and loyalty - all this over and above a great base salary.What you'll be achievingThe Commercial Director key outputs relate to accelerating the growth of the business and supporting the Managing Director develop the business model and capabilities to achieve the desired success. ·Work closely with and supporting the Managing Director to develop and grow a market leading, commercially successful business·Building strategic plans around products, services and a clear understanding of our current and future customer needs to ensure the company has a competitive offering and that the product roadmap supports the long-term growth aims in care sector segments and is aligned to market trends·Develop and execute marketing and sales plans (daily, weekly, monthly) in target regions of the UK and Ireland that monitor and report on performance against targets·Leading the sales and marketing team, to build skills and capacities and improve performance to support the scale-up of the business·Drive sales and revenue growth through both direct sales and strategic ‘partnership’ sales distribution models in target regions·Undertake feasibility to establish product fit in international markets and distribution model options that would enable the product to be launched in target territories·Networking with key influencers in the sector, including larger care providers to position the company as a leading supplier of software and services in the care sector·Supporting sales team on RFQs and develop pitches to increase effectiveness of sales efforts, especially with on large care home-owners in the English regions·Report to the Managing Director and Board on strategic and operational issues and commercial performance Your skills and experience ·Strong commercial experience in developing and executing growth strategies, scaling up small businesses in domestic and international markets ·Highly motivated, driven and proactive with sales experience with SaaS environment·Software solutions development and selling experience within public agency or care sector·Successful track record leading, coaching and building highly motivated commercial teams with success·Qualifications: Degree/Masters in subject relevant for planning and delivering growth: business development, market expansion, upscaling and improving commercial performanceAbout the companyProviding market leading software products and a range of digital and onsite training services to the care sector in the UK and Ireland aimed at improving care, safety, and operational efficiency and resident experience.
