Medacs Healthcare are proud to be working with a leading provider of specialist hospital at home care.
Working in line with the company ethos to deliver excellent care to patients being treated in their own homes rather than a hospital setting, we are currently recruiting experienced community Healthcare support workers in the Sheffield area.
The role will involve visiting patients in their own homes under the direction of a qualified healthcare professional.
Duties will include: Attend 45-minute patient visits.
Personal care, including support with meals, personal hygiene and ensuring general safety at home.
Observations and recording in line with the company systems.
Collect and transport clinical specimens.
Observe and recording pressure areas and skin integrity.
Recording and highlighting concerns to the clinical lead.
Provide additional support with training if required.
Qualifications and experience NVQ Level 2 / 3 or equivalent Experience in a similar role and confidence to work independently in the community.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with patients.
This is a mobile role so a full driving licence, relevant insurance and access to a car is essential.
The Benefits Excellent rates of pay Paid mileage from home (at 45p/mile) Paid training is provided to all successful applicants.
This is a temporary role and applicants will be required to work flexibly as part of a 7 day rota.
