The Position We’re looking for a  Data Business Partner to help drive forward some of our most challenging and exciting Data initiatives. Summary of the role Howden are looking for someone to join us as a Data Business Partner to build strong and trusted relationships with our clients. As a Data Business Partner you will be working with our broking and functional support divisions across our global teams and responsible for delivering overall client satisfaction across our data products. You will act as main point of contact, translating clients’ requirements into solutions which maximise usage of data and help clients achieve their business objectives. Responsibilities Manage the delivery of services to clients (e.g. carrier engagement and insights, dashboards, trading platforms) Act as a main point of contact for queries to help ensure efficient and effective resolutions Assist with outlining solution options and making recommendations Provide comprehensive data analysis and compile reports/presentations to support projects Create new business proposals according to business requirements Identify risks, highlighting these to relevant parties in good time and ensuring mitigating action is taken Remain aware of the market landscape (e.g. competitors, potential changes/risks, industry standards, new opportunities etc.) Requirements Experience of working as a Data Business Partner/Account Manager (preferably in tech environment) or similar role (at least 2 years) Understanding of London Market operations (Lloyds, IUA, LPSO, LPC etc) Awareness of the regulatory environment and requirements including e.g. FCA rules, data protection, money laundering, specific standards of insureds’ professional bodies Finance experience desired but not required Highly organised, with good planning/prioritisation/time management skills Excellent attention to detail Enterprising: able to spot opportunities Broad vision: sees connections and big picture Customer-focused approach Strong inter-personal skills Consultative and collaborative nature Ability to manage expectations Excellent listening and communication skills Highly proficient user of MS Word, Excel and Power Point The Location We are based in the vibrant area oftheCity of London.
