An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the CGL Peterborough Aspire team in delivering a high quality, responsive and forward-thinking service. The Deputy Services Manager will support the Services Manager to lead the delivery and development of a recovery focussed integrated drug and alcohol service for adults and young people. Managing and leading the key staff within the Management Team, the Deputy Service Manager will work closely with Team Leaders, the wider management team, and a multi-disciplinary team of staff.

Hours:  37.5 per week

Salary : £43,184.65 - £48,410.34 Pro Rata (CGL Scale 41-46) Depending on experience

Responsibilities

About the role

  • Oversee the operational delivery and day to day running of the service ensuring the service operates in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Line manages a team of operational team leaders including supervision, appraisal, performance, and sickness management as well as ensuring all CGL staff are following CGL policies and procedures.
  • Support the service to comply with CQC regulations.
  • Develop and maintain effective partnership working with stakeholders across Peterborough to ensure the best outcomes for service users can be achieved.
  • Support the teams to achieve targets set by OHID and Public Health commissioners.
  • About you:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience. 
  • Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards. 
  • Significant experience of leadership.
  • Able to lead, inspire and develop teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to use common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook)
