Temporary Electrical Manager role Recruitment Agency reference: /001A position has arisen for an Electrical Manager for Social Housing Contract within a leading Housing Contractor in the Greater Manchester area, the contract is on a 3-6 month basis.
The pay is negotiable on either a day or hourly rate.
The successful candidate must have experience in Housing AssociationsYour duties will include: Responsible for overseeing the electrical investment contract for the housing association Coordinate internal and experience compliance solutions for the housing electrical works Overseeing a team of electrical supervisors, and electricians Establish partnerships with internal and external stakeholders Monitor, review and evaluate the electrical service area, giving recommendations and proposals for continuous improvement Responsible for overseeing the performance of the electrical investment works including the EICR 5 year testing programme, and the communal lighting schemes Report to the Property Investment Manager Carry out inspections to ensure compliance with specifications of works Ensure works meet all relevant electrical health and safety regulations, developing systems so all instances of non-compliance are recorded Issue work order/rectification notices for works to be completed to specification and approved standards Liaise with professional accrediting bodies such as NICEIC to ensure service delivered is fully compliant The successful candidate should have: Computer Literate Electrical technical background (NVQ QUALIFIED) Previous management experience in similar role Social housing experience would be desirablePlease be advised the role will be a hybrid role and a mixture of office and home working will be available.
