Electrical/Mechanical TechnicianSalary is negotiable Salisbury, WiltshireInitially 6-month contract (full-time position) Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a client who operates within the health care and social assistance sector and are currently seeking experienced Electrical and Mechanical Technicians to work on site in Salisbury.Job DescriptionYou will be working as part of Estates Operation Team alongside with Building, Engineering and Project Officers being specifically responsible for the provision of the estates service. This a great opportunity for Multi-skilled Technicians who are looking to join health care and social assistance culture and progress in their carrier. Your main responsibilities as Electrical/Mechanical Technician will involve:You will supervise staff and contractors as appropriateYou will also carry out various inspections, audits, tests, repairs, installations as requiredThis means you will have to complete work in timely manner and log it onto the systemYou will be required to organise and coordinate own workload, and manage assigned trade staff workload as requiredAny faults found during Maintenance checks will have to be reported immediatelyYou will be asked to identify parts and/or equipment required to fix/repair these faultsAnd some of your daily duties:Maintain and repair installations, plant, and equipment to keep unplanned downtime to a minimum.You will test, maintain, and repair building services in an economic and safe manner and in line with legislation, risk assessments, documentation, and other requirements.To have working knowledge of Health and Safety and permits to work for staff and contractors, while ensuring all documentation and records are kept up to date.What we're looking for in you:Carry out duties and apply skills in at least one of the following: Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Building.Understanding of engineering drawingsDevelop skills and be able to transfer these onto new/less experienced staffBe aware of all staff related policies while ensuring quality and performance standards across allocated workBeing able to advise senior management on any improvements in critical areas You should be available to attend emergency calls occurring out of hoursIf you are interested in this role, please apply now or ask for Lukas on .Reference: 844288Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy.
