Salary competitive with excellent benefits Recruitment Consultant E:  [email protected] T:  07501980006 We are working in partnership with a market leading food manufacturer who are currently seeking a Head of Innovation to take responsibility for the development and implementation of the food & process agenda ensuring quality at all times. You will be an independent, proactive individual with the ability to effectively lead a team, inspire a culture of creativity and collaboration driving the company values and ensuring all projects are successfully executed. THE ROLE: Effectively lead, develop and support the NPD team. Create clarity and trust throughout the organisation through leadership, direction and development. Work collaboratively with Marketing and Commercial to manage the innovation process, ensuring clarity, robust delivery plans and exceptional stakeholder management. Analyse available data and insights alongside marketing / commercial to develop and deliver a rolling 1-3 year food strategy. Ensure all process and procedures are best in class. Ensure the delivery of all projects critical paths including trials and artwork processes. Develop and maintain the company values including nutritional framework and product related customer experience. Work with Procurement and Technical to ensure the very best ingredients. Work alongside the environmental team to ensure adherence to the company sustainability goals. Collaborate with Marketing for consumer testing at all stages of development. Take control of the NPD budget including P&L. Play an active role in the senior leadership team. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Food related degree desirable but not essential. Experience of managing multiple projects and critical path. Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills. Enthusiastic and driven individual who enjoys being part of a team. Creative and Innovative. Confident, clear and engaging communicator. The ability to present compelling messages with strong influencing skills.
