The Mail Metro team provides one single point of contact across print, digital and more, allowing agencies and advertisers easy access to the millions of consumers who engage with us daily.

Each department is equipped to support seamless cross-platform delivery across all brands.

Purpose Help develop and manage the commercial performance of all MMM newspapers and magazines, including relevant digital extensions.

Develop and implement new growth initiatives to increase print sales revenue.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth-running of the print sales operation – inc.

hubs, flat-planning, production, insight etc.

Develop strong creative pitches that promote print.

Work proactively to find short term revenue opportunities and identify strategic long-term opportunities.

Champion MMM print products and increase our reputation within the marketplace.

Main Responsibilities Operations Liaise with flat-planning in signing off issues, checking ads are in position and the aesthetic look of the title delivers on commercial and editorial requirements Managing inventory and identifying tactical opportunities Support agencies with their requests and needs Track and analyse print performance against budget and key KPIs Help create new sales collateral Assist the team with positional requirements to ensure we maximise the pagination whilst adhering to all positional guarantees Develop and manage internal relationships Work closely with all internal teams to ensure the effectiveness and full delivery of print campaigns Inspire graduate team and work with Agency Partners to develop team members Strategic and creative thinking Proactive pitching of media first and creative concepts Develop strategy across agency patch to maximise revenue opportunities Work closely with hubs to deliver best in class responses Person Specification A proven sales record within UK national press An eye for detail with excellent administrative and organisational skills Commercial awareness – a strong knowledge of the UK national print market Professional, diligent, positive and proactive Good working knowledge of all industry tools and trade bodies (PAMCo, TGI, Newsworks etc) Managerial experience would be an advantage Package Description In return for their energy and ideas we ensure our people are well rewarded.
