HR Business PartnerWe are searching for an experienced HR Business Partner

Job Purpose

Reporting to the CPO, and as an integral part of the service line leadership team, you will play a full role in the development and delivery of the RSM people and service line strategy to help deliver business ambitions. 

As HRBP you will establish productive relationships with Service Line Heads, Regional & Office Managing Partners as well as the HR Operations team to seamlessly deliver the HR Business Partner/ Employee Experience model.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the HR Business partnering function for allocated Service Line(s) / business area(s), equipping them with appropriate future-looking strategies to attract, recruit, manage, reward, and develop talent.
  • Deliver strategies to support growth and development of the business area, securing succession and developing potential.
  • Develop a strong commercial understanding of market trends, competitors and forces affecting the business area currently and anticipated in the future.
  • Partner with other HR specialist functions (L&D, Technical Training, Resourcing, Reward, Employee Experience) to leverage the value of the whole HR offering for service line leaders.
  • Lead and deliver on HR lifecycle processes salary review, that operate on a service line basis.
  • Develop relationships and establish processes across the HR team which ensures responsive and excellent service outcomes for the business and represents continuous development of the function.
  • Champion the development and use of people analytics to deliver insights, improve management decision making and best focus effort and resources.
  • Play a key role in initiating and leading people change within service lines and, in supporting change programmes, ensuring that people impacts are fully understood and well managed.
  • Contribute to the culture of innovation within the firm, bringing external/internal insights and experience to bear on development of the HRBP function and on HR driven initiatives and projects, both within service lines and across the firm.
  • Participate in central, national projects, leading as appropriate, and inputting into projects from the perspective of the allocated business area.

  • An effective HR professional with a proven track record of undertaking a HR Business Partner role to deliver business focused HR solutions.
  • Proven team skills and an effective collaborator, with the ability to partner across HR to drive excellent business support. 
  • Exceptional knowledge of HR best practice and future thinking, and a forward focused approach to HR development and delivery.
  • Evidenced ability to develop and deliver people propositions, gaining buy in and support from business leaders.
  • Track record of initiating and supporting service line HR processes and change projects.
  • Experience of coordinating and project managing HR and other resources to deliver effectively.
  • A critical thinker with drive and determination, allied with a strong sense of curiosity, bringing innovation, challenge, and insight to the role.
  • Ability to identify people risk and apply effective mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in the development and application of people analytics to inform both HR and business decision making.
  • CIPD level 7 or above qualified, ideally with Chartered Member status is desirable
