£42,000 - £50,000 - salary dependant on skills and experience  12 Month Fixed Term Contract  Full time/ 37 hoursLocation – Working from home, however may be required to attend site or an office   Would you like to be part of the Anglian Water team who are responsible for the safe and sustainable operation and maintenance of our electrical systems? Being a lead engineer and manager, developing programmes and strategy for improving electrical safety?What will you be doing as a Lead Electrical Engineer? Reporting to the Electrical Statutory Compliance Manager, you will develop and embed a strategy for Lightning Protection Systems and Power Quality Management on Anglian Water assets. Once the strategy is agreed with all key stakeholders, programmes of inspections must be developed and instigated with the identified Framework Partners, in accordance with relevant British and Engineering Standards.You will develop and embed a system for managing, communicating and undertaking any actions required from inspection programmes, based on similar existing systems, to ensure Anglian Water manages its legal obligations and the safety of people and assets. You will manage contract partners and others in the completion of asset inspections and if a successful strategy is agreed you'll have the potential to manage funded remedial work schemes. You will be expected to engage with external experts to develop and implement policy and standards as the Anglian Water subject matter expert. Educating and technically supporting a variety of stakeholders within the business and various delivery routes, with any gaps in compliance highlighted with suggested mitigating actions. As a leader within the Electrical Statutory Compliance team you will also provide leadership support and deputise for other managers within the team.
