Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: Bournemouth Salary: £80 to £94 per day Start date: Immediately Contract type: Permanent, Full Time Working Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm  Join our innovative educational community in Bournemouth , as a Teaching Assistant and become an integral part of our dynamic learning environment.

Transitioning to mixed-sex teaching from Year 10 onwards, you'll contribute to a diverse and inclusive educational experience, helping students thrive academically and personally.

THE IDEAL TEACHING ASSISTANT:

  • Must be a patient and reliable
  • Be able to work well in a team
  • Be proactive in meeting student's needs
  • Have 1:1 experience with children
  • Have previous experience of being a TA in school
  • Should be able to empathise with their pupils and be able to set a good example

 THE TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE:

  • Collaborating with classroom teachers to facilitate effective lesson delivery.
  • Providing individualised support to students with varying learning needs.
  • Assisting in the preparation and organisation of educational materials.
  • Contributing to the maintenance of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Building positive relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members.

 CONTRACT DETAILS:

  • Position - Teaching Assistant
  • Type of work – Small group and 1:1 sessions
  • Contract or position start date - ASAP 
  • Contract type - Temp to Perm
  • Full time/part time 
  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £13 p/h
  • Hours - 8:30 am – 03:30 pm
