We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to the role of permanent/full-time Lecturer in Motor Vehicle. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the curriculum, which boasts continued learner success and achievement.

The successful candidate must:




  • Have motor vehicle experience including light vehicle repair

  • Have a minimum of NVQ 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.

  • Have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.

  • Be a good team player with a flexible approach to working hours, as some evening work will be required and the ability to undertake the associated administration tasks.

  • On site assessment work may be required as part of the duties.



It is also desirable (but not essential) for the candidate to have:




  • Experience in electric vehicle and heavy goods vehicle repair
