Salary: £25,114- £26,895 per annum An additional £10,000 recruitment and retention allowance has been added to this position. Post Ref: 820052 Hours: 37 per week Base: King's Lynn You will deliver Mechanical and Plumbing works to a high standard, supporting Property Services on all College property and provide professional advice when required, as a subject matter expert. You will carry out maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment, manage Air Conditioning Systems, manage the servicing of gas boilers and appliances and BMS systems. You are required to be a Commercial Gas Safe registered engineer (install, commission, service, safety check), or be willing to obtain. You must have City and Guilds Plumbing and Domestic Heating (6189) and City and Guilds Heating and Ventilating (6188). You must have Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C/9-4) or be willing to obtain. You must also have extensive experience in the Mechanical trade, a good understanding and knowledge of up to date legislation relating to the building industry including Health and Safety, experience of delivering high quality work under the restriction of tight deadlines, knowledge of related tools, mechanical techniques, equipment and materials, skill in the installation, alteration, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems and experience of working within a customer focused environment.
