My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Pensions Specialist to join their dynamic and growing finance function in one of the most established organisations within the North West on a temporary, full-time basis.As the Pensions Manager you will be the strategic and Senior Lead on the Pension Function. You will establish and maintain strong relationships with the Shared Service Centre and HR department alongside other duties below:Key responsibilities of the Pensions Manager Business owner for staff pension issuesKey decision maker in strategic and complex issues within the organisationInterpret and implement all pensions regulations and legislationManage the contract with the external pensions supplierApprove monthly pension payroll and paymentsCollate and produce information of quarterly return in Board MeetingsLead on any pensions projectsRequired skills and experience of the Pensions Manager Pension Management Institute (PMI) qualification/equivalentSignificant pensions experience dealing with IDRP complaints and resolutionContract management experienceProject lead experienceStrong knowledge of pension legislationExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong organisation skills with ability to multitaskHighly developed problem solving and analytical skills.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected organisation with unrivalled opportunities.
