A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physician Associate (PA) to join our team as part of 2 to 3 GP Practices from North Central London PCN. The successful candidate will be well supported in this Primary Care role, by an accountable GP(s), in accordance with the needs of the PA. We are keen to add Physician Associates to our teams. Pension contributions and normal benefits will be included. Job Types: Full-time
Main duties of the job
Work will be based between two to three practices all within walking distance from each other.
Work will involve, but not limited to - reviewing patients, documents and blood results.
Strict precautions with regard to Covid-19 are in place throughout the five sites.

Job description
Job responsibilities
Conducting telephone consultations, which may involve discussing the result and implications of laboratory investigations with patients as well as dealing appropriately with routine and emergency medical needs.
Consulting and referring patients to physicians, medical specialists and other health professionals as indicated
Recommending and explaining appropriate diagnostic tests and treatments
Providing direct clinical care for patients including clinical assessments, diagnosis and treatment under the supervision of a GP(s).
Interviewing patients, taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, analysing, diagnosing and explain medical problems
Working with the wider practice clinical team to deliver services to meet the needs of the patients, which may include home visits
Requesting and interpreting results of laboratory investigations when necessary
Instructing and educating patients in preventative healthcare
Fully documenting all aspects of patient care and completing all required paperwork for legal and administrative purposes.
