We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Physician Associate to join our growing multi-disciplinary primary care team. You will work with our current Physician Associate to deliver high quality patient care.

This permanent position is offered on a full-time basis of around 37.5 hours per week, worked over 5 days. Protected learning time, CPD, and support from a dedicated GP supervisor will be provided to help you flourish within the role.

We welcome applications from Physician Associates from all backgrounds as we have experiencing training PAs who are new to primary care, but you would need to have passed the necessary exams for this role.
Main duties of the job

Main Duties of the Job

With support from your dedicated GP supervisor, you will provide care for the presenting patient from focused history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the service. You will demonstrate critical thinking in the decision making process. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to meet the needs of the patients and support the delivery of policy and procedures. You will provide a holistic and clinical service, with support and supervision from GPs, implementing agreed management plans and following approved protocols as appropriate.
