About the Role

 

We are looking for a Product Designer to join a newly founded, ambitious Tech Team. The Product Designer will be responsible for UI/ UX design projects across .com and is integral to defining the design outcome of web products.

 

 

The Product Designer will work as part of an agile product squad, closely with Digital Design Director. They will have the ability to take a brief from user research, to wireframe, to hi-fi prototypes. The Product Designer will uphold the highest design standard across .com; maintaining design systems as well as playing a key role in design testing of new features and updates.

 

 

Working alongside business stakeholders, the Product Designer will create design solutions based on hypothesis and customer data driven for commercial outcomes. Putting the put the customer first, and the product offering at the heart of the on-site experience is a must.

 

 

The ideal candidate will have been part of an agile product team before, bringing their previous experience and inspiration to a new role.

 

 

You will draw on this experience to implement effective ways of working. We want you to have input and be part of the brands strategic ambitions. You will be a high collaborative proactive person who is brimming with energy and enthusiasm. Being well organised, passionate about your craft and an excellent eye for detail is non-negotiable. The ability to work independently when required is expected, although you will collaborate with others regularly.

About You

 

Experience in an agile product tech team, a brand with similar adjacencies or scale up background is preferred. Expert knowledge of Figma; working with design systems is essential Experience taking a product from a user research and wireframes, through to prototyping and front-end design testing A high-level understanding of design best practice, design theory and interaction design Experience designing for e-Commerce web products; Strong typogrpahic and layout skills are a bonus An understanding of user experience design, including usability principles, user research methodology, testing techniques (A/B, Multi-Variant) etc... Ability to understand brand strategy/message and convert it into digital experiences Self motivated, proactive and up for a challenge  A background in scale up businesses/ or an interest in fashion is a big bonus
