We are currently recruiting on behalf of a water technologies company that designs, manufactures, commissions and services a comprehensive range of high quality water treatment plant and equipment, to the highest rigorous standards of compliance and quality. As well as their own brand, they commission and service other manufacturers’ systems and plant. They are currently looking to expand their Projects engineering team in the Southern area with a Project install and commissioning Engineer. Responsibilities: • Onsite and office-based equipment builds and operational testing • Site surveys before install to ensure correct parts list is ordered • Installation and commissioning of water treatment equipment • All other works to all appropriate guidance and legislation to ensure compliance • Pipework, electrical work/fault finding and sampling • All work to be carried out using RAMS produced by the projects team and adhere to any equipment manufacturers design specifications • Completion of validation documents for each project • Completing commissioning reports for each project • Ensure all projects are delivered on schedule and within margin • Ensure the projects team are providing a good service to customers • Adhere to agreed KPIs set and regularly reviewed with your Line Manager • Maintain van stock and report any shortages • Ensure tools and equipment are in good / working condition • Develop and maintain strong trust and professionalism with customers • Attend and actively participate in any regular project’s meetings • Attend training courses including site specific to enhance skills and development • Assist projects team and logistics manager with delivery information • Carry out any other duties as required by your Line Manager • Some weekend works and overnight stays are required in this role • Carry out self-site risk assessments to carry out jobs safely • Carry out health & safety exams, self-assessments, and courses • Report any accidents / near misses / potential hazards to your Customer Support Manager • Complete personal and site accident books • Actively participate in the development and deployment of ISO9001, ISO14001 Customer Support Manual Desired Experience: • Plant knowledge, Water treatment experience, Electrical, Plumbing, Chemistry, know their way round a wiring diagram or P&ID - experience is required Benefits: • Starting salary £31,000- £33,000 dependant on experience • Salary review if successful on completion of the probation • 50 hours a week across 5 days additional weekend/ overnight stays are a part • A company van with necessary equipment provided with stock, tools and phone/ laptop • Company fuel and credit card supplied • Company pension paid after 3 months • 25 days holiday a year • Commission bonus scheme, commission rewards and kudos rewards If you feel as though you are the ideal candidate, then please click apply.
