Looking for a vibrant workplace with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration?  If so, you’ve come to the right place!  As a QUALITY LEAD in the WREXHAM PLANT , you’ll be an integral part of the team, working on developing strategies to ensure that our Wrexham Plant can consistently deliver legal & safe food, meeting Kellanova Quality requirements.  Initiate, implement and manage food quality systems and practices to ensure that our Wrexham Plant is in compliance with company policy and statutory legal obligations.

 

Your role will be based full time from our Plant based in Wrexham, United Kingdom.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Within the 7 Core Programs of QFS:
    • Product Quality program owner
    • Hold Management program owner
    • Lead for External Audits, Market Regulations (e.g. Halal, Kosher, RSPO, RFA and Regulatory)
  • Own process standards to ensure production of consistent and high quality food including food quality continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Own consumer complaint data and relevant complaint reduction programs.
  • Own hold management and the review and determination of holds for sampling or other dispositions.
  • Management of site Quality Management System and associated document control processes
  • Own product evaluation (food review) process, ensuring calibration of Food Reviews across all teams.
  • Own Quality out of standard and CAPA program
  • Own Raw Material and Packaging Quality

 

Your Recipe for Success

 

  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Good knowledge of market regulations and standards (e.g. BRC, Halal, Kosher, RSPO, RFA, Weights & Measures etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Food Quality systems and processes.
  • Someone who can act quickly.
  • Strong communicator who can influence across different peer levels.
  • Someone who can work independently but also is a strong team player and good collaborator.
  • Analytical/Decision Making, root cause analysis and problem solving skills
  • Consumer and customer focus.
