Our client is an industry leader in the design and supply of a specialist product within the fitness industry.

They have been at the forefront of their industry for over 30 years and continue to grow from strength-to-strength year on year!

Due to continued expansion are looking to hire an experienced Sales Manager to join their established team.

The role of the Sales Manager will ultimately be responsible for the management of the sales department within the business.

Ensuring the implementation of the business sales strategy through the effective deployment of process, system and people.

Being responsible for both commercial targets and customer satisfaction throughout the customer base.

The duties of the Sales Manager will include: * Implementing the company’s sales strategy.

* Agreeing and delivering revenue targets for the company and key performance indicators for the sales team and ensuring that they are achieved.

* Implementing sales strategies and plans across the company and monitoring effectiveness.

* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

* Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.

* Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.

* Oversee, implement and improve process, system and organisation plans to ensure achievement of the company strategy * Implementing a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales.

* Meeting with the sales team members regularly to assess company performance against KPI’s.

* Presenting sales results as required * Speaking at conferences and events about the company’s products and services.

* Keeping a close eye on the sales activities of competitors and utilising ideas where appropriate.

* Overseeing lifecycle management of all staff including recruitment, induction, training and performance management * Working with members of the board on budgeting and planning.

* Implementing best practice in sales techniques and CRM throughout the function.
