Job title: SEND Teaching Assistant – Permanent Location: Nottingham Start date: September 2023.
Salary: £75-£90 TeacherActive is honoured to be working with a fantastic SEND school in Nottingham The schools aim is to ensure that every child with a special educational need receives the best possible education available.
The ideal candidate will be patient and understanding of the children’s needs.
The school needs someone who is very open minded and has the desire and passion to grow and develop.
You will need to ensure each student is given the opportunity to be as independent as they possibly can be and that each student is celebrated as part of the school community.
The successful Teaching assistant will use their enthusiasm and a range of teaching strategies to motivate and engage pupils in learning and will make sure they are available to support and help students when needed.
The ideal teaching assistant will: Have a positive and engaging attitude.
Be able to provide a supportive and safe environment.
Great communicational skills.
