The Role: Second chef – Kings Place – Fleet
Rate of Pay: £16ph /£31,200 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – 5 working days over 7 (some weekend working required)
Weeks per Year: 52

You will be reporting to our Chef Manager; and will be on hand to support both operationally and financially to ensure the smooth running on a day-to-day basis. You will be working within an Assisted Living environment where all the food is prepared with fresh ingredients daily.
You will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a contract catering/catering environment. This is a great opportunity for a Chef to grow and potentially venture into a management role. You will be proactive and ‘hands on’ in your working style, an efficient team member; always building rapport with your team and your customers and hold fundamental ethics on always delivering excellent professional customer service.
We are looking for a real team player with excellent culinary skills; a strong knowledge in building GP margins/creating menus and costings as well as writing/working to a budget.
Experience in using online accounting/stock control software is also desirable.
This is a Second Chef position with occasional events out of hours. There would also be opportunity for additional hours in covering sickness/holidays.
Safeguarding is of the upmost importance to Radish therefore you will be required to complete a full DBS Clearance.
