Position: Support Worker Location: Residential setting - outside Slamannan, Falkirk – FREE transport available to and from FalkirkHours: Full Time, Part Time and Bank hours availableSalary: £9.

By believing in someone you can help people reach their own potential as well as supporting with the everyday tasks such as finances, housekeeping, attending appointments, shopping, and participating in various activities of choice and a dedication to further people’s skills and abilities.

About You:As a Support Worker you will be a dedicated and empathic person who is able to not only provide physical care, but also offer emotional support to help people to reach their maximum independence in a safe and positive living environment.

You should have a caring, personable nature, be confident yet able to offer a calming influence, demonstrate initiative under pressure, show drive and a self-awareness of your own development needs.

You will have excellent written and communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team and be able to learn and undertake the essential training that is required for the role.

Although an understanding of the role is desirable, it is not essential as training will be provided.

We are more interested in ‘who you are’ as a person.
