About the role: Working closely with the Recruitment Manager and recruitment team, you will be responsible for the recruitment of predominantly IT professionals from Financial Services, FinTech and Consultancy backgrounds. You will focus on developing a strong pipeline of permanent candidates, while proactively seeking to deliver cost effective hires to the business in an accurate and timely manner. Your principle activities will include: You will recruit for roles with a deep technical focus, predominantly Cloud Engineers, Architects, DevOps Engineers and Infrastructure Specialists and across Engineering, Data, UX and Front End. You will need to be able to recruit candidates at all levels, up to and including senior levels from the consulting and banking sectors You will use recruitment tools to ensure trends are identified and reported as well as ensuring our internal database is kept fully up to date. You will have access to a selection of 3rd party recruitment services such as job boards and networking sites as well as proactively building a professional network through introductions and referrals. You will use both competency and behavioural techniques to interview candidates as well as engaging Subject Matter Experts within GFT to assist with final selection. You will deliver cost-effective hiring solutions using your knowledge of the market and current conditions as well as proactively using trends to ensure your networks support ‘just in time’ recruitment. You will work collaboratively with the HR and Recruitment team ensuring best practice at all times. What we require from you: You will have a proven track record recruiting technology professionals at all levels Coming from a background in Financial Services and/or Investment Banking Strong interpersonal and communications skills The ability to understand the fluid changes within the business Diplomacy with the ability to handle demands from all levels Further knowledge & experience: You will have knowledge and experience of using relevant job boards/social media to attract and source suitable candidates effectively as well as proactively building a professional network through introductions and referrals You will be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills You will have excellent interviewing and negotiating skills and possess real commercial acumen Must have a can do attitude and have excellent candidate management skills. You will have demonstrable experience within large matrix organisations in a recruitment role managing the full end to end recruitment lifecycle.
