To be worked over 3 days.

Starting from 07.

15 and to finish at 21.

Shorter shifts are also available.

Basic hourly rate - £12.

62 per hour, up to £14.

62 per hour with enhancement.

A night enhancement of £1.

50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins).

A weekend day enhancement of £2.

00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday. 

in the market town of Wetherby in West Yorkshire, Wharfedale House is home for 18 adults with physical disabilities.

As a Team Leader with Leonard Cheshire you will motivate and supervise your team, ensuring the delivery of care, personal support, daily living tasks and activities to our customers.

You will provide support to attain full potential, maximising options available, encouraging choice, participation and motivation.

You will:

  • Have a level of professional development and registration (i.e. NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ/SVQ in team leading or management.
  • Be experienced in working within a relevant care setting.
  • Have experience in supervising a team.
  • Be able to work flexibly within rostered hours and prepared to participate in an on-call rota as required.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have a full, clean driving licence to travel and cover work allocated on the rota (Support at Home roles only).
