Finance Manager

Robert Half are working in partnership with a well established, reputable organisation in Christchurch to recruit a newly created Finance Manager role on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity that will be responsible for the finance function whilst getting involved with the production and consolidation of accounts as well as improving processes and controls and collaborating with the wider business in contributing towards key decisions and strategies. This role will be suitable for someone that is looking for a challenging and autonomous role and be a part of a business that is renowned for offering progression. The salary is between £50,000 - £55,000 plus excellent benefits.

The Role

The main duties of the Finance Manager role will consist of:

• Preparing management accounts for multiple entities.
• Preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Consolidating accounts.
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Preparing VAT returns.
• Business partnering with various stakeholders; influencing business decisions
• Managing a team of x8; setting tasks/objectives, conducting reviews and appraisals and recruiting into the team where necessary.
• Implementing processes and controls where necessary.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must ideally possess the following/skills attributes:

• You must have proven management accounting experience.
• Ideally ACCA or CIMA qualified, qualified by experience will also be considered.
• Must have experience managing a team.
• Strong communication skills
• Innovative mindset
• Strong attention to detail
• Confident user of Excel
