THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to join on a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract to take ownership of the entire recruitment process for junior to mid-level roles within our Corporate and Distribution businesses.

Working collaboratively with your hiring manager’s and the HR Business Partners, you will develop a strong understanding of our business and industry and ensure a first-rate candidate experience for all candidates. With previous in-house recruitment experience, you will be able to hire across a wide range of disciplines including, Tech, Business & Legal Affairs, HR, Finance, Digital and Sales.

Main Responsibilities:
‚ Take full ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process for your roles including:

  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Acting as a true business partner, providing insight and guidance throughout the process, from JD writing and candidate profiling, through to interviews and assessments.
  • Ad Writing: Creating compelling and compliant copy for all roles, ensuring alignment with BBCS Brand and values.
  • Sourcing: Searching for and engaging with active and passive talent, utilising search tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, as well as own network.
  • Selection: Conducting thorough candidate pre-screens and submitting considered shortlists to your hiring manager for each role.
  • Interviews: Defining and overseeing the interview process, ensuring all processes are consistent and equitable.
  • Candidate Experience: Accountable for a positive candidate experience, ensuring feedback & updates are regularly communicated in a timely fashion.
  • Offer: Lead the offer delivery process, handling all negotiations, utilising market insights to provide advice on total reward.
  • Onboarding: Ensures a smooth transition from recruitment to the relevant onboarding teams.

‚ Fully immerse yourself within our business and industry to become a trusted and valued partner to your hiring managers, demonstrating a consultative style that provides a high-level of support.
‚ Partner with internal DEI function and 3rd party DEI partners as part of BBCS’ ongoing commitment.
‚ Track and monitor your recruitment activity against key metrics.
‚ Ensure compliance of hiring practices with legislation.
‚ Work closely with HR business partners, keeping them updated on hiring activity in their businesses.
‚ Remain up to date on TA industry trends, attend external networking events conferences, sharing learnings back to the team.
‚ Participation in TA projects: e.g. Success Factors integration, running Internal & External recruitment fairs, Early Careers initiatives, HM interview training, Employer Branding etc.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

Minimum criteria
‚ A proven track record of attracting and landing top candidates for entry-level to mid-level roles across a range of disciplines.
‚ A skilled interviewer with experience in competency interviewing candidates at the junior to mid-level.
‚ Highly proficient at using LinkedIn as a recruitment tool.
‚ Being able to effectively consult, negotiate, and influence at a peer2peer level.
‚ Adept at leveraging data and insights to inform decisions, and comfortable utilising reporting and recruitment metrics to understand workload, performance and effectiveness of recruitment activity.

Other key criteria
‚ Working technical knowledge of applicant tracking systems, CRM tools and HRIS’.
‚ Knowledge of legislation and regulations surrounding recruitment and selection practices.
‚ Strong consultative, service orientation with the ability to establish credibility and trust and develop positive relationships with stakeholders.
‚ Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
‚ Demonstrated organisation skills and ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
‚ Team-oriented and skilled at working within a collaborative environment.
‚ An appreciation of the high standards expected and trust required when working with a high profile brand.

PACKAGE DESCRIPTION

Job Reference: 15747
Band: C
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + London Weighting, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Contract type: 12-month Fixed-Term Maternity Cover, Full-time.
Location: Office Base is London, Television Centre. This is a hybrid role, and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.
