Due to the critical nature of our work and the industries we serve, we hold 'key worker' status.The Role: Control Systems EngineerThe Control Systems Engineer will oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring technical compliance and quality. Responsibilities include attending client meetings, discussing design, surveys, programming, configuration, testing, and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar environment and possess good knowledge of Siemens or Rockwell PLCs, as well as other SCADA, HMI, variable speed drives, and instrumentation products.Key Responsibilities:Production, modification, testing, and commissioning of SCADA & PLC softwareWriting detailed functional design specificationsConfiguring system architecture and network connectionsUK site commissioning (which may involve short periods away from home)For lead positions, the ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers for optimal output.Required Skills/Experience:Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualificationsGood verbal and written communication skillsPrevious control system experience (2 years+)Clean UK Driving LicenseEligible to work in the UKExperienced with PLC programming (Rockwell/Siemens/Mitsubishi) or SCADA development (Wonderware System Platform, Rockwell FTViewSE, WinCC, Clear SCADA, Iconics Package).If you think you have the skills necessary to be a success in this role, please click apply.For any additional information get in touchSyntech Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
