Role & Company Overview:

Seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer for a pivotal role in managing existing infrastructure, creating new setups, and sharing best practices for a Financial Exchange.

This diverse position involves automation, low latency trading platforms, and client support within a highly technical team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automated global cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Enhance automation processes on cloud and on-premise using Ansible, Python, and other tools.
  • Collaborate with the development team on new technologies and workflows.
  • Ensure architectural design adherence to cloud best practices.
  • Support development and ops teams, including build servers, virtual environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Assist the Linux team with software, OS, and hardware maintenance using Ansible and Terraform.
  • Conduct systems capacity planning for scalability across environments.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date documentation.
  • Mentor and train team members on technologies and processes.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of architecting systems on multi-account AWS and GCP platforms (bonus for Azure).
  • 5+ years general DevOps, including CI/CD, Deployment, Monitoring, and automation.
  • 4+ years of system administration in a RedHat/CentOS environment. Proficiency in Python, bash, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab, AWS Code Deploy, etc.
  • Proven experience with network, security, and systems monitoring.
  • Skills in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS/ECR), Elasticsearch, and CloudFormation.
  • Database administration in MySQL, QuestDB, and Elasticsearch.
