Gilbert Meher are working with a Life Sciences company who are building a market-leading sales team in the UK.


The company are seeking a Distribution Sales Manager for the UK to manage distribution and dealer relationships in the region, ultimately driving revenue growth.


You’ll be responsible for overseeing all distribution sales in the UK, including managing existing relationships, exiting underperforming partners and identifying new partners.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead distribution management for the south of the UK to achieve the indirect revenue target.
  • Takes stock of existing partners, implementing strategy to assess and improve their performance, and potentially exit underperforming partners.
  • Implement a strategy to hold all distribution partners to account, ultimately leading to distribution partners overachieving on revenue expectations.
  • Keep finger on the pulse of the laboratory space, using market knowledge to maximise sales.
  • Use strong understanding of the product portfolio to educate distribution partners and ensure they’re cross-selling across the full product portfolio.
  • Drive towards KPIs and other goals as set by Sales Leader.

Requirements:


  • Proven track-record of experience managing distribution sales, preferably within life sciences.
  • Experience of turning around under-performing distribution partners.
  • Comfortable in a high-volume sales role.
  • Results-driven, self-driven and ambitious individual who enjoys working in metric-driven roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to cross-sell and close on deals.
  • An excellent communicator, with the ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Driven to work in a growing company environment, enjoys a fast-paced culture and works well under pressure.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 4 days a week, including overnights.
