Embedded Software Engineer, Permanent, £40000 - £50000 per annum, 33 days leave, Enhanced Pension, BUPA Health careBased in the East Midlands, our client is an internationally recognised transportation service provider. You will be joining an established team where the delivery of high performing solutions achieved in a right first-time environment is valued and rewarded.Your responsibilities as an Embedded Software Engineer include:Design, implement, and optimise embedded software solutions.Targeting Linus, RTOS & bare metal platforms.Participate in hardware/software co-design and system-level debugging.Support FAT SAT & Commissioning activity.Leading smaller projects, collaborating on larger ones.Adherence to safety and associated standards.Follow industry best practise whilst looking for opportunities for improvement. Requirements as an Embedded Software Engineer include:Computer Science or related degree.3+ years practical and relevant experience in an Embedded Systems development roleExperience with C/C++ full SDLC, STM32, Arm9, PIC platforms, Embedded Linus, RTOS, DotNet-core, CE 6.0 frameworks and unit testing.Desired experience in C#, Visual Basic 6, X86, 8051, Typescript, Javascript, HTM/CSS, Python, Railway environment & standards.
