ROLE OVERVIEW

Join GRIDSERVE as an Investment Manager leading investment cases for grid connected assets focusing on the power markets side of portfolio.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting internal stakeholders with the creation of internal business plans for approval.
  • Assisting finance colleagues with the creation and management of short-, medium- and long-term forecasts and strategic business planning
  • Helping the team continue to create value-adding monthly financial analysis to be shared internally.
  • Internal review of models and forecasts to ensure these meet quality requirements.
  • Assistance with ad-hoc strategic business planning support requests across the business.
  • Managing the existing relationship with a large panel of banks on an ongoing basis.
  • Involvement in any planned equity and debt raises.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy and Environmental and Quality Management System, compliant with ISO standards

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Required experience and skills

  • Must have previous experience with project appraisal and business planning, ideally in the renewable energy sector
  • Experienced and skilled in financial modelling, forecasting and planning
  • Professional accounting accreditation required.
  • Good understanding and experience of project presenting financials/ developing financial models as well as more strategic longer-term plans.
  • Strong commercial and negotiations experience
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a commercial focus gained within a dynamic environment.

Required qualifications and certifications

  • Degree or equivalent level qualification such as Accounting & Finance, Business, Economics or Investment Management
  • CIMA/ACCA or finance qualification,desirable
  • UK driving licence
  • passport
