Accounts Senior – Glasgow – £32-35k DOEYou want to work for a top Scottish employer that embraces innovative ways of working whilst prioritising client care.You want to be part of a team that work flexibly and still deliver outstanding client services.You are looking to be part of a culture that values and prioritises work/life balance and employee health and wellbeing.Our client, a highly successful and reputable firm of chartered accountants, is looking for an Accounts Senior to join a supportive team, within a secure and stable environment.What will a typical day look like?Full ownership of the monthly management accounting cycle for your clients Review the work of junior staff, and be willing to devote time to coach and develop them Work with the Technology Systems team to help design and implement innovative reports and dashboards for clients to access in real-time via smartphones and tablet Work closely with the Finance Operations team to ensure efficiency of the Purchase to Pay cycle and accurate recording of accruals and prepayments Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and audit requirements by maintaining robust controls Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, initiating ideas to develop processes and controls. Liaise with auditors during clients’ external audits. Analysis of KPI's & metrics as required by clients and company management Dealing with ad hoc queries from hotel clients on top of BAU workWho are we looking for?Experience and skill set required for the role:  Minimum of 2 years’ relevant practical work experience Proactive self-starter with ability to problem solve Strong written and verbal communication skills High level of Excel skills would be very advantageous The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Accuracy and attention to detail Organising and prioritising work to meet reporting deadlines Experience of Navision or other ERP systems highly desirableInterested?Please forward your CV to James Walker using the apply online link.HRC Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer & all applications will be treated as such
