Adoption Social Worker in Liverpool

Sirona Medical are recruiting a Adoption Social Worker for a Local Authority in Merseyside.

Job Role: The role will manage a diverse caseload where the plan is adoption in line with policy and procedure, with a child centered approach, being able to effectively and safely analyse risk in order to make the right decisions.

There will be a need that quality standards are maintained and champion good practice to reduce risks, building on strengths through effective internal and external communication and excel in purposeful effective partnership working to undertake family finding activities.

The candidate will have excellent assessment, report preparation and planning skills, completing in an efficient manner according to statutory timescales and you will be confident in direct working and be able to prepare Lifestory books for the child/young person.

Sirona Medical will be supplying the Social Worker on an agency contract. 

This is a full time agency position. 

As a Social Worker, you must have a degree in Social Work, strong background in Adoption, understanding of all adoption regulations, legislation, statutory guidance and processes, Social Work England Registation.
