Apprentice Service Advisor in Chichester

OB PURPOSEThe role of the Apprentice Service Advisor is to:Gain an understanding and knowledge of all aspects of the vehicle service department, throughout a period of introduction.Department/Business/Location:Service departmentReports to:Aftersales ManagerKEY RESPONSIBILITIESTo handle customer enquiries and queries promptly and efficiently.Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Qualify service and customer requirements to aid diagnosing of vehicle problems where appropriate.Establish understanding and an agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out.? Accurately maintain the service department loading system in line with workshop capacity.Manage the handover and administration of loan vehicles.Explain the work carried out on vehicle ensuring customers full authorisation and understanding.Understand and adhere to manufacturer service requirements.Maintain relevant systems always ensuring accuracy.Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the business.Skills & RequirementsEssential:Smart appearance.Energy and enthusiasm.Attention to detail.Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT.Desirable:Full UK driving licence.Understanding of basic vehicle design, function and location of parts.Aston Martin accredited qualification available on completion of training.The Harwoods WayHarwoods Group is a values led, family owned automotive retail group that was founded in 1931.
