Area Business Manager


Covering the West Midlands and surrounding area


Basic Salary: Competitive, and very negotiable for the right candidate! Plus: Generous & genuinely achievable, uncapped Commission, Company Car, Laptop, Phone, Company Healthcare and Pension Scheme


This opportunity requires a talented and driven externally based account manager with a history of working on a large number of established house accounts, ensuring that business is both maintained and cultivated. They would also prospect new customers to drive sales forward for the area and company.


The right candidate will be comfortable in high-pressure situations and able to work towards KPI targets set both individually and as part of a team. You will be as comfortable in face-to-face meetings with clients as they are on the phone.


The right candidate must fit the following criteria:



  • Have experience in dealing with a number of "house" accounts already on the books in regards to customer service, communication, order processing, problem-solving etc.

  • Be comfortable with an element of cold calling as well as generating their own leads via internet research/social media/press and other channels.

  • Must be able to work well on their own and as part of a sales team.

  • Have the ability to work towards set KPIs and sales targets.

  • Good time management

  • A solid understanding of how to maximise profit/loss & turnover/margin.

  • Good attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Happy to stay away from home to effectively maximise working hours and sales opportunities.

  • Enthusiastic, confident, and sociable.

  • Experience within FMCG is preferred

  • Full Driver's License
