The position I am recruiting for, an Asbestos Surveyor, will work primarily on Military Bases. Therefore, a Security check (SC check) and Developed Vetting Check (DV check) are necessary for the role which is why the salary is so attractive. They can offer more for someone who is dual trained as an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst (Asbestos Consultant) or if you already have the check in place.REQUIREMENTSBOHS P402 and a minimum of 6 months experienceHigh level interpersonal skills DUTIESResponsible for the undertaking Management, Refurbishment, Demolition and Re-inspection Surveys of Domestic, Commercial, and Industrial propertiesEnsure the delivery of reports to clients on timeEnsure unbiased and accurate information is given to clients to assist them in effectively managing their AsbestosEnsuring personal air monitoring is undertaken at least once per monthUndertaking re-surveys and quality assurance works as requiredMaintain impartiality, integrity, and independence throughoutEffectively communicating with Line/Operations Manager and clients (where appropriate)Attend target and review meetings as requiredTo act as spokesperson for REC, communicating effectively between the other members to the Asbestos Team and Operations ManagersAssessment of work performed in terms of risk management and to ensure working practices and operations are always safe and in line with the Asbestos Quality Manual and REC IMSEnsure that all the necessary quality records are completed and made available for regular internal review by a member of the Quality or Management team.
