Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture of complex software solutions in the video streaming industry including front end applications, middleware, backend platforms and third party services
• Help lead a diverse team from idea inception through to delivery of healthy scalable production operations
• Conduct proof of concepts and roll your sleeves up in development phase when required
• Investigate root cause of complex technical issues during development and production when required
• Lead performance, security, technology cost management
• Lead solution technical sales including RFPs, technical presentations, technical scope of work

Qualifications

• (Please do not apply for this position if you have a majorly Enterprise Financial Services technology background)
• Recent 3+ years hands on development experience of large scale projects / products in media technology, ecommerce or related industries
• 2+ years solution architecture or technical lead experience working across two of the following : Front End Apps, Backend End Platforms, Middleware APIs, Video Streaming, DevOps
• Technology Degree at Masters or PhD level would be advantageous
• Multiple AWS certifications
• Experience with Video Streaming Technologies and Content Management Systems
• A full grasp of Agile software development
• Strong communication skills across a variety of methods including all types of technical diagrams, reports, emails, presentations, workshops, online video meetings, Jira, Confluence
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and leadership skills
• Ability to explain and demo technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
