SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As Audit Senior, you will provide a wide range of audit services across a diverse range of clients, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high calibre audit service.

NB. This is a pure audit role but could potentially include accounts for the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As Audit Senior your key duties will include:

-Responsible for audit management from planning to completion
-Lead the onsite audit team, responsible for high quality audit fieldwork
-Prepare files for review by Directors
-Provide advice to client/s on audit matters
-Build positive and longstanding relationships with clients to support the firm’s success and growth.
-Supervise, develop, and mentor junior members of the team
-Deputise for the Audit Manager as required

PERSON SPECIFICATION

To be considered for the role of Audit Senior you will meet the following criteria as follows:

-Qualified or nearly qualified ACA or ACCA
-Practice experience essential
-Experience of leading an audit assignment from planning through to approval of the statutory accounts by the Board
-Strong financial reporting knowledge essential
-Good communicator who excels in a client-facing role
-Have a close attention to detail, working accurately and to budgets and deadlines
-A self-starter who can identify issues as well as opportunities and propose appropriate solutions
-Must share our core values of honesty and integrity, positive, supportive, professional and inclusive.
