Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer based in North Lincolnshire or Sheffield to recruit an experienced Homologation Type Approvals Coordinator.
The Approvals Coordinator will manage and maintain the company Vehicle Approval Homologation and will be working closely with Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA and other bodies to obtain and manage a variety of vehicle Type Approvals.
Our client is looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with employees, customers and suppliers.
Duties of the Approvals Coordinator include:
Managing, maintaining and auditing the Vehicle Approval Systems (Homologation Type Approval)nFollowing all applicable standards and liaising with the certification body (VCA)nCreating Information Folders as required by approval bodiesnLiaising with design teams to obtain drawingsnInputting product specification and development to design compliancenMonitoring the component lists and auditingnProducing, managing and maintaining the Operating ProceduresnProviding support with the production control plannRecording of all vehicle weighing exercises to determine averages.
nCreating VIN plate labels as requirednAttending all external audits.
nWe are keen to speak with Approvals Coordinators with the following skills/experience:nStrong Commercial Vehicle backgroundnMust hold a valid driving licencenGood computer skills.
